Burleigh Heads Podiatry is a Sports and General Podiatry practice that services the local Burleigh, Burleigh Waters, Burleigh Heads, Miami, Palm Beach and the greater Gold Coast community. Located within Burleigh Heads Physiotherapy Centre and working side by side with physiotherapists allows a holistic approach to treating sports and soft tissue injuries of the feet and lower limb. We treat patients of all ages including children and the elderly. Conditions that are commonly treated include bunions, claw toes, callous, corns, ingrown nails, plantar fasciitis, heel pain, ankle pain, sever's disease, cuboid syndrome, achilles pain, tendonitis, myopathies and patello-femoral syndrome. Aleks Baruksopulo is our senior Burleigh Heads Podiatrist and he has been working in Sports Medicine clinics since graduating in 2007. He has been lucky to have worked with a variety of athletes from a range of different sports. His highest profile patient he has treated is Damon Kelly the Commonwealth Games Gold medalist. Although sports injuries is his main area of interest he enjoys all aspects of Podiatry.
