At 6.00pm Bunnings Orange closed their front checkout although they were due to close at 9.00pm. Customers were directed to use the checkout in the Tools Sections causing a jam of about 10 customers waiting to be served. There were 5 Bunnings staff in the area with only 1 serving. When I told a staff member behind the front counter he said that was the way it was and laughed at me when I complained about the poor service. I feel the staff should be flexible enough to respond to customer demands. Is it the policy that the store only looks after trade customers during working hours or does sees ordinary customers with less regard? This reflects badly on Bunnings and this is why I am bringing to your attention.
