I have had terrible experience with Mr Browne. He is dishonest, his work quality is very low and he is prone to bullying. He is a corners cutter and an accomplished dodger of responsibility. He explained away every problem in his work as being a result of circumstances or denied a problem existed. He became very angry when I brought a problem to his attention. He often, incorrectly claimed he was doing some things for free so I should not complain about the quality. He never asked me how I wanted certain things done but did things his, often incorrect way. I had to watch him and demand changes which he implemented in a reluctant, irritated manner. At one stage, he actually questioned the need to consult me at all – he appeared to see himself to be the boss. He left without finishing the job after I already paid him most of the money (why - because he is my neighbour and I wanted to have good relationship with him)
