Hi, my name is Julian and I've been in the concrete industry for over 15 years. I've been hands on with every stage of concrete from steel fixing, to pouring, to the final stages of polishing or coating. I know and understand each process and can help you make your flooring experience as 'smooth' as possible. We had Julian at BCS come and grind and polish the kitchen and main living area floor in our 1981 built duplex. We were more than happy with the overall finish of the job but even more impressed with the quality and professionalism. Julian was very informative throughout each process. If anyone is looking to get some concrete polished, we definitely recommend Julian at BCS.

How much does concrete polishing cost?

While there is no one set price for all, you can usually expect prices to range between $65 - $140 per sqm depending on the desired finish (Eg, light grind & seal -vs- a full mechanical polish). Pricing will vary depending on a number of factors including the type of finish desired and total square meters of the project.

What is involved with concrete polishing?

Depending on the look you're after, polished concrete can range from a 4-step process to a 13 step process. There are many variations to polished concrete including a gentle 'cream' finish, salt and pepper finish, or a fully exposed bold aggregate. You can even include coloured glass to the concrete when pouring the slab to get a totally unique finish.
