We came with 3 adults and 2 small kids, 5yo and 3yo, for a walk, some lunch and to check out the children's festival that was on at the gardens. Sat down and ordered 5 smoothies with the idea to peruse menu while we enjoyed our drinks. We pulled out a small container of fruit for the little ones and were promptly told that wasn't allowed at all, even for the toddler with dietary requirements (and no child friendly menu to boot!). The table next to us was also told they couldn't have a packet of rice crisps for their 18mth old baby. Rather than hang around to order meals we paid the $48!! for our 3 adult and 2 kids smoothies, (which were tiny, ok-ish taste but still had very large frozen chunks in them) and didn't bother with ordering meals. It used to be one of my favourite places to bring the kids and visiting family for a lovely day out in the garden cafe, I haven't visited in a while and won't be coming back. So if you have small kids don't bother your not welcome

Beautiful atmosphere, steep prices and staff seem to have forgotten how to smile...toilets are clean but very very narrow
