Bossy Boots fully qualified educators provide care for babies from 6 weeks of age to school age. We are open from 6:30am to 6:30pm Monday to Friday 52 weeks a year, only being closed on NSW public holidays. We also have limited places for before and after school care. Our experienced cook prepares nutritious morning teas, lunches and afternoon teas which are included in the daily fee, and nappies and sunscreen are also provided. In short, we at Bossy Boots aim to provide the best quality of care possible. We realise that we are serving the children and also their parents and their families. In providing care, our goal is to do all that we can to foster the development and happiness of the child, while making sure that parents feel confident that their children are in good, safe hands. Philosophy At Bossy Boots, we view children as individuals with unique talents, capabilities, and aspirations. We aim to provide the highest level of care and education for all children, while providing a stimulating, healthy, and caring environment so that they can achieve their full potential. Ongoing learning and reflective practice We understand the importance of reflective practice as a form of ongoing learning and as a means of gaining a more detailed understanding of our work with children. As professionals, we aim to examine our experiences from varying perspectives, providing us with opportunities for continual improvement and the development of new ideas. We aim to become co-learners with children and their families while valuing the richness of local knowledge shared by community, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island elders, and other cultures represented within our community.Our curriculum, policies and practices are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, �My Time, Our Place', the National Quality Framework and the relevant regulations and laws.
