The practitioner carries out a series of tests to locate the exact areas of body stress. The practitioner then determines the precise direction in which the lines of tension exist, using the body as a biofeedback mechanism. A gentle stimulus is then applied using the hands. This encourages the body to release its stored tension, assisting the body in its inbuilt ability to maintain and heal itself.
