About Blue Olive Cafe

The Blue Olive, est 1997. Located in the beautiful Heritage Melbourne Building, West Row, Canberra. Chunky New York style sandwiches, fresh salads, giant burgers and delicious seasonal mains. We use only the best local bread (Flute Bakery) for our sandwiches and they are available on gluten free bread also. We have an excellent range of sweet treats, including heaps of gluten free numbers. Our coffee is small batch roasted and we use only premium quality local milk. You should try it, it’s delicious. We serve breakfast & lunch Monday - Friday from 7:00am - 3:00pm.

I will defs be back! The food here is high quality and simple and the coffee is delicious. The cafe itself is friendly, clean and great.

The red velvet cake mocca here is scrumptious! They also have terrific coffee and the sandwiches here are lovely.

Life doesn't get much better! There's a really cool pub next door and Blue Olive Cafe is excellent if you're waiting for a bus or you're working nearby. The place itself is very calm and clean and they have fresh breakfasts and lunches. The coffee here is good too!

I will continue to visit this place regularly! The selection of cafe food here is really good and they have a wide range of milk alternatives for non dairy drinkers. The staff is super friendly and the service here is always great. I love their breakfast burger!
