at the entry counter the man was very loud and unpleasant . the zoo itself needs some upgrade but understandable after all the rain and covid. the service at the food counter was a disgrace as people waited for an hour to get a cup of tea / a muffin /a wrap/a milkshake. the ice-cream counter was not open to order so people were waiting there for nothing .Why when you got that many poeple to serve sorry but this day was disappointing to us .

This is a definite must see when visiting the Port Macquarie Region. We definately got to see ALOT of animals when we got there. The admission price are priced just right not to expensive and you get a free packet of kangaroo food which is awesome, the presentations are great and detailed. The cafe has delicious snacks and drinks, the gift shop is very extensive and full of things ranging in price but there are very good things there. I think the billabong zoo is a great place to go

When I visited Billabong Koala & Wildlife Park the wildlife looked well looked after, staff were friendly and it wasn't overcrowded. Such a nice place to go when visiting the area

Billabong Koala & Wildlife Park is always such a great day out. The kids love going and we always look forward to going back again. Can never go too many times and definately worth the visit . Highly recommended

I have been twice to Billabong Koala and Wildlife Park and both times I didn't experience any crowding. You are free to touch kangaroos and koalas closely. which is a great experience in itself.

Billabong Koala & Wildlife Park is a very cute little zoo. It is well kept and neat. Although we probably only spent 2 hours there, it was fun and worth the admission price. Will try get back soon

A very big thank you to Mark, Blake & the staff at Billabong Zoo for hosting the Port Macquarie Chamber Business Awards Sponsors Breakfast a few months ago. It was great to share breakfast with some different animals, wonderful to see the cheetahs in action and also meet a python, koala & dingo. Such a great place to visit especially if you haven't been for a while. They have been doing some great work out there and the place looks fantastic plus they have some very exciting exotic animals that have already arrived and a couple more on their way. Great spot to take the family for a picnic lunch or if you have visitors over these school holidays don't forget to visit the zoo.

I hadn't been out to Billabong since the kids were tiny when here on a holiday. I have moved to Port now and went back with my much older kids and was pleasantly surprised by the array of animals they house now. And stuff you don't see anywhere else and very hands on. Great feel too! Keep up the good work!
