Shopped there today and loud speakers were anouncing that bigw supported the voice to parliment . This is not what i want to hear while shopping, politics should be left to the politicians.

Rude staff and “services desk”. After going to pick up an order and simply asking approximately when my order would be ready (was supposed to be ready within the hour and took 3) an older woman said to me me “leave me alone”… I asked her why she was being rude and she insisted that I leave her alone. Not sure what was done it said by me to provoke such rude behaviour but no matter how bad your day is, probably don’t treat customers like that for absolutely no reason.

Almost all staff here are helpful and friendly - except for one. After visiting this store 4-5 times over the week and spending quite a lot of here, over the visits, the door woman acted unacceptably. Upon my wife leaving an alarm went off. While a staffer was assisting my wife, the door woman yanked & twisted a shopping basket she hadn’t yet put back - in the process twisting my wife’s wrist, making an existing injury worse. When this incident was reported to the store manager (in person) and she was shown the bruising to the wrist, this manager responded with “It’s her job”. No apology was offered nor was an injury/incident report filled out - the store manager basically shrugged the incident off as though it was completely acceptable, normal procedure. The reason why the alarm went off? A security tag was accidentally left on a item of Bonds clothing. Very upsetting as we’ve come to expect a certain level of service and courtesy from the Big W franchise.
