A rural locality in the northern portion of Gold Coast City, Maudsland sits on the coast of Queensland, located 20 kilometres west of Southport and 66 kilometres south-southeast of Brisbane. It is bounded by Coomera River to the west, the northern tip of Nerang National Park to the east, the Gaven Arterial Road to the north, and the outer suburb of Mount Nathan to the south. Maudsland is composed of acreage properties and housing estates, such as Huntington Downs and Tuxedo Junction. Non-acreage neighbourhood properties such as Parklake and Riverstone Crossing, and Huntington Rise are also being developed. The locality also has several facilities such as large parks and playgrounds where residents can enjoy fields, barbeque and picnic amenities, and play areas.
