I was horrified when planning our trip to Port Stephens at the price the major car rental companies were charging at the airport. After a Google search, I discovered Bay Scoot & Wheels and a simple phone call to Peter arranged to rent a Camry Hybrid for our 7 day stay at less than half the price asked at the airport. This included a transfer to and from the airport. Although not brand new, the car was in excellent condition and performed faultlessly. I would highly recommend this company.

Peter was immensely helpful throughout the entire experience especially when we used 2 of the beautiful lexus'. If you're hiring in the Port area why go anywhere else!

Yes. As per the terms of the Rental Agreement, you may not use the vehicle for any illegal purposes, including towing or pushing other objects, or to carry more passengers than is legally allowed for the vehicle in question.

If I get into an accident, how much do I have to pay?

Nelson Bay Car Rentals requires that you have insurance in place when you rent one of our vehicles. The policy will cover out-of-pocket expenses associated with an accident while you are driving one of our cars or scooters. Excess is starting at $2,500 per hire vehicle however we have options to reduce the excess premium, contact our office to find out how.
