This was always our go to place for fish and chips and when we had visitors. We are locals. Today we had the worst fish and chips in living memory. The first was always fleshy and thick. Today it was thin dry and overcooked ( or double cooked ) The chips were mainly crisp batter with no substance Wanted to take it back but only a junior was on so seemed futile. Took the meals home for the dog. So disappointing. !!

The reason why the fish and chip shop around the corner and this one is not! Asked for chicken salt on chips they gave plain and so over cooked chicken roll was dry, hot dog wasn’t nice, the spicey burger was at least spicey but not good!

Excellent food and service. Love the range of eight fish provided, crumbled, battered, grilled or nude. Plus so many specials such as lasagne, spaghetti, potato bake and stir frys all home made. The things i really enjoy are the chicken fillet burger with fresh chicken breast, freshly made pulled pork rolls, red emperor grilled and the chicken wraps, NO processed meat used. Give it a try, blue shop next to the bakery with the best service and value for money you will find , highly recommended for families with ice cream sundaes for the kids and something sweet for mum and dad. Drinks and even coffee for those long days. Treat yourself on those nights you don't want to cook with the baraga takeaway Check out this beautiful stir fry.. very tasty sauce
