Barcoo Beef which is in Bangalow NSW and gets its beef from northern NSW is just superb. We have bought their beef at several of the better butchers in Brisbane and also had it at restaurants. It is grass fed black Angus beef, melts in your mouth and (importantly) has flavour. It is not like that lot-fed beef which, while tender, lacks flavour. It's Barcoo Beef for us.

We have been introduced to Barcoo Beef and need to say it is the best beef we have ever had. Not only do they cater for the consumer through selected retail outlets but we are told they also service the quality restaurant market which we discovered to our pleasure recently. We don't think beef comes any better anywhere in the world than Barcoo Beef - and we are Americans who think that Texas beef beats anything.
