Back Office Bookkeeping

As the owner of Back Office Bookkeeping, I bring over 20 years’ experience not just as a bookkeeper, but also as an Accountant, a registered BAS Agent (26221227) and a Small Business Owner. I Studied a Bachelor of Business Majoring in Accounting & Marketing at Queensland University of Technology, graduating in 2005. While studying, I began my career in the accounting industry working in accounting firms as well as bookkeeping for several businesses across different industries including trades, hospitality, manufacturing, primary production and professional services. In 2011, after moving to Newcastle, I decided to do something different. I traded the office for the outdoors, successfully running my own window cleaning business. In 2022, after injuring myself, I went back into the office and picked up where I left off as an Accountant in a small accounting firm in rural NSW. I have a strong interest in helping small to medium businesses grow and this has prompted me to begin Back Office Bookkeeping. I bring an understanding of the unique challenges that arise for small businesses having successfully built a business from the ground up and having navigated my way through the COVID-19 pandemic. I work hard for my clients to get them the best results in a timely and efficient manner. I bring strong ethics to your business and will always be open and transparent so you know exactly how your business is performing, and you can have confidence that your obligations to the ATO are being met.
