Amazing service from Paul, helped wash my whole car and and went above and beyond to help me get the stubborn dirt off and gave me a polish bottle and cloth to take home. Thank you Paul!!

Hi Andy, As you mentioned our facility offers top notch equipment and we strive to achieve the highest possible standard in car washing. It makes me sad to hear that your experience at Avanti Carwash did not live up to your and our expectations. By calling our service number I, personally, would have loved to be given the opportunity to rectify any service issues you had right on the spot. It is always difficult to address any problems that have arisen at a much earlier point in time. Please let me assure you the cameras are not for putting pressure on the attendants rather making our carwash a safe & secure place for our customers to wash their cars, boats & caravans 24/7. And of course boats and caravans are also allowed to be washed at Avanti Carwash anytime. However, there are times when the carwash is really busy and some customers, unfortunately, get a bit impatient when a vehicle blocks their way and they can't use an empty bay immediately. Therefore our staff have been advised to guide cars in an efficient manner to achieve this goal - of course in a courteous manner. In the past we have been complimented many times for the excellent service by our staff and I can only assume the noise of the carwash vacuums may have contributed to using a louder voice towards you than would have been necessary. Anyway, I have addressed this issue with all staff and hope you will give us another opportunity to showcase our great facility. Thank you very much. This would be the ultimate carwash facility if it wasn't for the staff. I've been using the self service bays here for many years to wash my personal and work vehicles. The equipment always works and they have credit card facilities, something not available at other car washes. I recently purchased a boat and took it to Avanti after a day on the water. I used the boat/caravan wash bay which is promoted on their website. When i was approached by the attendant he asked me why i didn't wash my boat at home. Slightly taken back, i explained i didn't have the facilities. He suggested the owner was always watching the CCTV cameras and was on his back. As a note to clarify however, my boat and car didn't block any access ways, i took a normal amount of time and spent a considerable amount of money. A strange encounter but something i brushed off. On the next visit several weeks later i pulled into the Avanti driveway with my boat in tow. The boat/caravan bay was being used so as i put my car into reverse the attendant (different from last time) trotted urgently across the driveway and yelled through the passenger window across my guest that i couldn't bring that thing in here. By this time he was around the car and at my window where he yelled that i was blocking the driveway. When i explained i had just got there, he yelled that the facility wasn't for boats and that i would take up too much room. I began to explain that i had been before and fitted fine he yelled agitatedly that i was to immediately leave the premises. Had it been calmly explained to me that boats weren't accepted at Avanti or that my boat was too large for the facilities policy i would have calmly accepted the situation and left without question. The fact i was spoken to extremely rudely without reason has led me to leave this review to warn others that Avanti carwash is not boat/caravan friendly regardless of the claims on their website and to warn others of the abusive attendant. Is it possible the owner behind the CCTV cameras is putting unnecessary pressure on the attendants? A bizarre situation indeed. I have since moved all my business elsewhere.
