Kathryn says she learned a lot about history. They had great displays and the staff was very enthusiastic and friendly.

Ellen says they provided a truly authentic experience of the Australian sugar industry. It was great to see history portrayed for what it was and without the rose-coloured glasses. The staff/volunteer was knowledgeable, friendly and obviously had a love for the place and the history contained there. The place could be brightened up on the inside and outside with fresh paint, but the amenities were cool and clean. Keep up the great work!

Russ says there were so many interesting and incredible exhibits, as well as movies and DVDs that were informative. Lauren, a volunteer/employee, has a wealth of helpful information, too. As a direct descendant of one of the pioneering sugar cane growing families on the Sunshine Coast, Russ found the place amazing! He absolutely loved his visit and he'll make sure to tell as many people as possible about his positive experience.

Glenys says they're ideally positioned right on the Bruce Highway. They're well worth a visit while in the Innisfail area or when driving through to Cairns. Glenys says she wondered about it from the outside and was totally amazed when she got in. Their collection was really worth popping in and having a look at and there was a great bunch of volunteers running the facility. Very interesting attraction. 5 stars!

Brian says he recommends it to everyone travelling through Mourilyan. There are kind people at Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park who helped answer all his questions. This place is just the best. He visited in 2015 and gave them an Isis Mill cap for their collection. He also bought heaps of stuff.

Gavin says it's nice to go somewhere and show the kids how things were in the old days. The kids loved it.
