Can I use my existing phone number on the nbn?
Yes, you can use your current fixed phone number on Aussie Broadband’s VoIP service. We’ll do our best to make sure your switch from fixed phone to VoIP is seamless. If your phone service is with another provider, we’ll help you port the number over to our VoIP service before you cancel your existing account.
Do I have to pay phone line rental?
No. One of the great things about the nbn® is you won’t ever have to pay for line rental. Your nbn® phone line uses VoIP technology to make and receive calls over the internet. You’ll find your phone line will work just like a regular landline. Also, you can keep your existing phone number when you switch over.
