Do I need to supply an urn?

No, an urn or scatter box is included in the cost of our services. We can also use a personalised urn or vessel of your choice, should you desire.

What happens if I don't want my pets ashes returned?

If you do not want to receive the ashes, we will scatter them for you in our rose gardens or on native land at our premise. We take care to scatter the ashes in a dignified manner on your behalf. We can also send you the cremation certificate or a plaque, should you want it.

About Angels for Pets

Angels for Pets is a family owned and operated pet crematorium service located at Tanby on the Capricorn Coast. Our service offers pet cremation for your beloved pet. We collect your pet from your vet or home for the cremation process. A choice of urns are available in timber and pewter , we add a photo or engraved plaque to the timber urns and engraving on the pewter urns. A personalised cremation certificate will sent home with your beloved pet. After cremation your beloved pet will be delivered to you for your convenience. Grieving is natural after the loss of your pet, if you are finding it difficult we can recommend a grief councillor to help you through this difficult time. Angels For Pets service Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone and Emerald areas. If unable to contact us, please text or email and we will respond as soon as we are available. If your pet has passed and you are unable to contact us, please contact your vet to make arrangements and then text or email us details and will respond as we are available.

From the first call I made regards a cremation, to the last email from Jenn letting me Poppie was ready to be collected from the vet, I felt so comfortable knowing my little Poppie was with genuine caring people. Jenn was just wonderful, and Poppie came back to me in the beautiful tube I requested. They made a heartbreaking occasion stress free, and I really felt Poppie was treated with love and respect.

Angels for Pets were absolutely wonderful to deal with, when sadly our precious Lilly passed. They were understanding, helpful and compassionate and made this sad time easier to deal with. Saying goodbye to a very much loved pet is never easy, but Angels for Pets made the process seemingly easy. Communication was clear and payment being made to the vet prior meant not having to pay invoices and answer to emails during a very difficult time. Jenn and Merv took great care of our little bloke. They made the process very easy for us, kept us informed and gave us confidence from the first contact that Gizmo was in very good hands. The first time I spoke to Jenn I felt like I was speaking to a friend! I felt total trust in Angels for Pets and was right in doing so. Communication was constant, choice of memory and payment was easy. We went with the velvet bag. This came with a lovely certificate and heart felt words from the owners of the business. It meant a lot. I don't usually write reviews but at a time when we were so upset the process was dealt with so compassionately, I truly recommend Angel's for pets.

Do I need to bring my pet to you?

No, our team can collect your pet from the veterinary clinic or from your home. From there we will complete the individual cremation and ensure the ashes are returned to the vet.

Can I get a keepsake paw print and lock of fur?

Yes, where possible we can take a paw print and clipping of fur from your pet as a memorial piece. This is an optional service for all customers and we will endeavour to meet your needs.
