Horrible service moving from Atherton to Tamworth. Contract said delivery date ‘Early February, exact date TBC and when in area’ which was fair enough. Confirmed delivery date on the 31st Jan to be on the Monday 10th of Feb via email and phone call. I arranged my travels to be in Tamworth on that day. I got a call Friday 7th afternoon from Allied saying “another job heading to Tamworth had cancelled so have to reschedule mine to 26th of Feb unless I pay $220 extra”. No guarantees on receiving it then either. No sorry for the inconvenience or attempt to help and rectify. Simply says “we are entitled to do this because of contract you signed” apparently having to pay for accommodation because I don’t have furniture to sleep in due to their sudden cancellation is “your issues” according to Peter. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. Adds unnecessary stress on top of already stressful moving.

Dear Jong Wook Hur, thank you for your feedback, as a business we take all feedback seriously and appreciate all points of view. As we have already discussed with you, your contract clearly stated “When In Area” and when a scheduled transport is changed due to circumstances beyond our control and directly as a result of changing customer needs, which then causes us to NOT to be in the area, by default, we cannot deliver such consignments without being paid for the dedicated travel and labour unless you can wait until we are in the regional centre (such as yours in this instance) until the next time where we can deliver, as contracted. You declined our suggestion to seek third party advice or have not returned to us with the outcome and elected to pay for your goods to be delivered ASAP at our next operational opportunity – which we did. We are sorry that this experience appears not to have been what you expected but we met all contractual obligations with regard to your removal.

We had a move from cairns to regional south australia. Allied pickfords relocated all furniture and my car and were absolutely fantastic. Everything delivered on time and in perfect condition. Staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely recommend them and no hesitation to use them in the future. Well done and thanks again!

I was very happy I chose allied pickfords for the second time to help with my move. The first time it was excellent service and only a couple of very minor things got damaged which is really to be expected on a major move so I thought I'd use them again as they stuck to their booking and took good care of everything. This time not one of my items were damaged at all nor was our home getting everything in and out. i will definitely be sticking with them for any future moves and recommend everyone try them out!
