After Hours Clinic (Blackstone) is situated in Blackstone, which is a suburb of Ipswich, and previously operated as the Blackstone State School. The former state school was established in 1887 and operated for 122 years before being shut down by the ‘State Schools of Tomorrow’ program in 2009. The After Hours Clinic specializes in urgent after-hours medical care. We are not an emergency service. Our service offers urgent after-hours medical assistance for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries. Established in 2022, the After Hours Clinic aims to ease the pressure off Emergency Departments. A facility fee and additional fees for consumables will apply. Each patient is treated by experienced medical practitioners and nurses.
