What a godsend! Amazing staff, really helpful from the first phone call to the appointments. My health has improved. Yes, it takes time for complex cases, and yes, I am complex, so I knew it could not expect a miracle cure in a few weeks. It didn't take a few weeks to get me in this position! Went to Advanced Wellness for depression, was on St Johns Wort when I went and Pristiq before that, which I weaned myself off. Was placed on a strict diet to detox, which was going to take three months. Has cost me $1500-00 so far. Have been on it for five weeks, so the $1500-00 was going to be a lot more, you gradually run out of the supplements, so you have to buy more. I am gradually slipping back into depression. I was under the impression that all the supplements that I was taking would stop me from going back into depression, maybe I was wrong. When I rang to say I could feel it coming back, I think I was going to get some more supplements, more money, and was told about 5-HTP. I think five weeks is enough time to see if it is working. I also noticed that my blood sugar level was rising, I used to check it from time to time just to see what it was, they had the kit to test on special at the chemist. It was always around 4.8, it has been gradually rising, the last two I tested were over 6.5. I only used to test this from time to time, every couple of months. Checked it only lately because I thought it would be going down, but like I said it started to go up. Disappointed.
