How we started... Our founder, Michael, cultivated a deep fascination with dozers and mechanical engineering during his upbringing on his family's cattle properties in remote Western Queensland. He committed himself to a career in mechanical engineering, accumulating numerous trade qualifications and extensive expertise in heavy machinery operations, repairs, rebuilds, and maintenance. During his industry experience, Michael observed a shortage of skilled and compliant tradespeople in the Northern Territory. In response, he relocated to the NT and initiated independent contracting under the name Aussie Dust & Diesel, rapidly expanding the team to meet regional demands. In 2019, Aussie Dust & Diesel diversified into civil construction, welcoming director Damien Jeffrey, who boasts over 45 years of experience in the field. In 2020, Michael recognised a skills gap in residential landscaping and construction, prompting the establishment of a dedicated department within the company. In 2021, Aussie Dust & Diesel underwent a transformation, becoming ADD Corporation. Michael now channels his passion for quality maintenance by managing and collaborating with the ADD Corporation team, ensuring top-tier machinery maintenance and upholding our impeccable Zero LTI (long-time injury) record for our clients.
