Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?

No, you don’t, although you may have been given a referral by your doctor or specialist. Physiotherapists are primary care practitioners and can be the first person you visit for pain and/or injury issues. We will refer on to other health professionals if a team effort is optimal for you.

Will I receive treatment during my initial consultation?

Yes. Adam Physiotherapy has longer than average 45min initial appointments so that we have time to get to the bottom of your pain and injury issues and also provide treatment to get you on the road to recovery at your first visit.
