My partner recommended I try Bowen Therapy for my lower back pain. After the first treatment I woke up the next day with no pain. With each treatment the pain subsides for longer periods. So Many Benefits! I have been going to Leigh for over 2 years now. She has helped me with a number of complaints. I always feel better for having been to her. She is so knowledgeable and caring. I am that way now that I make an appointment when I am feeling 'out of sync' for whatever reason, sore tailbone, stiff shoulders and neck and she does her magic (honestly) and I can get on with my day and life. Leigh also does Bowen Therapy for Pets so my dog Penny was given the opportunity of a Bowen therapy treatment 1 day (best 24 hours before) prior to her having her usual annual injections which Leigh explained would give her 24 hours of being in healing mode before her injections so she bounces back faster..healing from any toxic residue in injections or local swelling or tenderness at the injection side. BOWEN THERAPY FOR LONG TERM PAIN RELIEF I tried Bowen Therapy after my partner recommended it. At that stage, pain & discomfort from an accumulation of past injuries, headaches, repetitive use of my hands plus aging, was affecting my life, my sleep & keeping me awake at night. I was having cortisone injections, leading up to my 1st Bowen treatment, that was giving me temporary relief. Not wanting to continue down that road, I was looking for a longer lasting, more natural treatment to ease my pain. I was a bit skeptical during my 1st treatment, but Leigh explained during the session, how Bowen Therapy would help reset my brain & body's alignment, as a whole within a few treatments. After 2-3 treatments, I noticed a difference in pain levels and was able to sleep without waking as often. I continued to improve, my headaches disappeared & I usually fell asleep on the table, shortly after each session began. Bowen Therapy's really got my attention now!

When I 1st saw Leigh, I'd never had a Bowen Treatment before. I felt very relaxed during and after the treatment. After the 2nd session, my left shoulder blade pain (that I'd had for 2-3 years), improved by 90% and still hasn't flared up like it used to, even though I over do it at times, in my maintenance and painting trade. I have been sleeping very well, especially after the treatments and I also noticed my heartburn has improved by 50%. Overall I feel much more relaxed. I began training as a Bowen Therapist in 2003 to help my Cerebral Palsy son. I met Leigh through Bowen training and she treated my son with Bowen to help his severe Scoliosis. I also treated him with regular Bowen, along with volunteer Bowen Therapists (inc. Leigh). Over 3 years, when my son was 8-11 yrs, he had Bowen treatment every 2 weeks and his Dr found the scoliosis had straightened enough to avoid surgery to insert spinal rods. I found Bowen improved my son's mood, sleep pattern, immunity and general wellbeing. I've been seeing Leigh for Bowen for over 8yrs and I look forward to my treatments. I've had Bowen for neck, jaw, shoulder, back, knee, hamstring ankle and foot issues with wonderful results. I used to get headaches from neck and shoulder pain, with no relief from chiropractors or massage therapy. My job is physically demanding and I needed to find a way to reduce the pain. I have been seeing Leigh now for 3 years and her treatment has diminished the pain, and if I keep up the maintenance I no longer get headaches. Before I found Bowen Therapy, I was in a lot of pain in the mornings and I had difficulty putting my work clothes on. Over this time I have only required one or two Bowen Therapy treatments at the most to have the issues resolved and able to return to work. 1st had a Bowen treatment after I saw how it helped my husbands back pain and other health issues. When I booked in, I was experiencing migraines, hormonal imbalances, mood swings and fertility problems, which had left me feeling depressed. I also had insomnia and general body aches from stress-related problems. I was grateful for the helpful knowledge Leigh shared with me about my issues and I felt better just to be able to talk to a caring person, who understood the pain I was in. In May 2010, I started having Bowen Therapy with Leigh for a sore neck and I haven't looked back. I only had to go every 2–3 months instead of a couple of times a week, like I had to with a previous practitioner. During this time, I have also taken my children to see Leigh for Bowen Therapy and I found Leigh to be extremely caring. My children think she's wonderful and asked me if they could go back to see her, when they knew i'd booked in for a treatment. During my last pregnancy I was 41 and I had Bowen Therapy throughout when I needed it and I had much less back pain and no gestational diabetes (like I'd had with 2 previous pregnancies, when I wasn't having Bowen Treatment). I first met Leigh many years ago when I had sever back pain and was unable to move. After only 3 sessions with Leigh, the pain had gone and has not returned. I have continued to use Leigh's healing hands for all muscle and joint pain as well as mind and body centring. I first had Bowen Therapy in 2006 for painful RSI of my wrist/elbow and also for a weak arm, which felt like it was strained from work duties. I found Bowen to work faster than other treatments, to settle my arm and wrist/elbow pain. I experienced deep relaxation and a much better sleep pattern after my Bowen treatments. I use Bowen regularly now to keep on top of any pain and strain, especially in my back, neck, shoulders and knees and for general well being. I would definitely recommend Leigh and her Bowen Therapy Treatments. I've also seen Leigh for an organic essential oils massage and found it deeply relaxing and effective in easing the pain and tension, in the areas of my back and neck that are overused.

Thanks Leigh for fitting me in at short notice when I 1st booked. I was in extreme pain & wasn't sure if Bowen would work at the time, but I had so little sciatic & back pain left within a few days, that I felt on cloud 9. I was able to stand up straighter & was walking and sleeping much better. My back pain continued to improve each day after that & now after a few more treatments & a regular top up session when I need it, the pain I used to experience daily, is a thing of the past. The exercises you gave me & the muscle rub oil blend you recommended, eased the burning sensation I felt in my back/hip area & Savannah uses it too. The ganglion on my left wrist (that Ive had for 15 years before you treated it) has disappeared-after I was told Id need surgery to fix it.
