We specialise in traditional Maori and Polynesian funerals, and will take care of all your arrangement needs, allowing you to grieve in your own time.

If you have recently lost a loved one, we would like to take this opportunity to sympathise with your loss.

A Gentle Touch Funerals is a close knit family business, which has helped many families through their loss of loved ones by providing exceptional levels of care and support.

We offer unique care in tailoring funeral services that are appropriate, meaningful, dignified and affordable—from the traditional to the contemporary. Our funeral arrangement services include family and church liaison, burials and repatriation.

We have a large urn range and offer personalised coffin designs. A Rolls Royce hearse is also available, so that your loved one can be laid to rest in style.

We cater to many different customs and special requests, including culturally appropriate services for the Polynesian community through our Pacific Island Family Funerals division. We also provide support and comfort to the local community, through our Mudgeeraba Funerals division.

Forward planning helps to lift many pressures off family while ensuring your wishes are honoured. At A Gentle Touch Funerals we provide prearranged funeral services—talk to us for more information.

At A Gentle Touch Funerals our goal is to provide the very best of care for both the family and the departed family member. About Mudgeeraba, QLD
Mudgeeraba is a hinterland suburb of the Gold Coast in Queensland. While the nearby suburbs of Robina, Varsity Lakes, Reedy Creek and Nerang have changed over the years, Mudgeeraba has retained the characteristics of a pretty, rural village amidst the rise of homes and industry in the area. Mudgeeraba was originally populated by famers and timber getters back in the 1800’s. The original Mudgeeraba Hotel opened in 1884 and still stands today. These days it is known as the Wallaby Hotel and remains in the main street of the village. Mudgeeraba became prominent in the early 1900’s when the railway system was installed from Tweed Heads to Brisbane, making the area less isolated and more accessible to people in neighbouring towns. Slowly, a township grew around the hotel and railway station to include a post office, blacksmith, bakery, butcher shop, bank and eventually a school. Today, the old world charm of Mudgeeraba continues to attract many visitors to its quaint restaurants and cafes, art galleries and charming bed and breakfasts. The Mudgeeraba Farmers Markets is one of the oldest on the Gold Coast and offers a variety of local produce, jams, cheese, baked goods and coffee from the area. Mudgeeraba is located just off the Pacific Highway, only a few minutes from the Robina Town Centre and its restaurant precinct.
