Toilet not functioning so my brother had to poo in a bucket and then wash it out in front of everyone else! This made him vomit and continued to for the entire trip. Should not advertise excellent facilities if they are not working. Deckhand sounded lovely, skipper not so great.

Very unimpressed. These guys are not interested in getting their clientele on the fish. They have deralect reels that are not suited to fish. 50m depth crew seem happy to keep on spots catching undersize fish. We watched tuna smashing bait fish off the top of the water and no lure on boat (seriously!). Caught 8 fish only. One only just legal. These guys give Coffs Harbour a bad name for its excellent fishing grounds.

Warning do not go with cougar cat 12 .We had driven 6 hours from the central coast to go on holiday at coffs harbour with a pre booked trip reef fishing with cougar cat 12. The day of the charter we had to be at the peer by 615am. It was a sunny day slight bit of wind. We waited until 637am and no one had shown up for our pre booked pre paid reef fishing charter. We rang the ppl at cougar cat, first they tryd telling us the boat had already left the mariner and we had missed it but that was not true we were staring straight at the boat parked in the mariner. Then they tryd to tell us they wouldnt be going out because of low numbers. Then they changed it to the weather conditions. We ask why we were not informed. They said they tryd to ring us which was a lie then they said we had to ring them to confirm the night before lol which is not what we originally requested via email. Then we ask for our refund and they were trying to tell us we had not been billed .. we had been billed and the trip was pre paid.. we originally decided to go with cougar cat 12 because they had top reviews.. but after all this i would warn ppl to stay clear of cougar cat 12 .. there are plenty of other fishing charters in coffs harbour..
