Freds Pass Reserve is a recreational centre in Bees Creek. It was first established in 1977 and used by more than 20 social and sporting clubs near the area. Community events are held there as well. Each year in May, the Freds Pass Rural Show takes place where 200 exhibitors display their achievements in sports, horticulture, agriculture and other sectors. The show attracts thousands of visitors from different parts of the Northern Territory each year. Bees Creek has two schools – Bees Creek Primary School and the Sattler Christian College.
