San Remo is a small suburban town located in the local government area of the Wyong Shire Council in the state of New South Wales. The first group of settlers came to the suburb in the late 1800s, although substantial growth took place in the area in the 1950s. San Remo is now a residential and rural community with some industrial areas. The suburb has joined the Doyalson region to form the San Remo-Doyalson district. There are many different landmarks and tourist attractions in San Remo such as the Northlakes High School, John Pete Howard Reserve, the Northlakes Shopping Centre, the San Remo Neighbourhood Centre, the San Remo Heights Reserve, the San Remo Extreme Sports Park and the Doyalson Golf Driving Range.
