Black Head is a small suburban town located in the local government area of the Greater Taree City Council in the state of New South Wales. One of the most popular and recognised tourist attractions in the suburb of Black Head is Black Head Beach. The area is part of an initiative known as the “Keep Australia Beautiful Programme.” Heralded as one of the most beautiful beaches in Manning Valley, Black Head Beach offers tourists and patrons various facilities and amenities such as an ocean pool, picnic sites, barbeque areas and sheltered Norfolk Island pines. Aside from the beach, the suburb also has other attractions such as Black Head Markets, which take place at the Wylie Breckenridge Park between September and May.
