The town features a diverse range of accommodation for visitors, including apartments, beach houses, holiday and caravan parks and B&B’s. It has a high school, state primary school, a variety of alfresco dining and café options, library, parks and playing fields and is home to the Kiama Municipal Council. There is also a sports complex and Leisure Centre.
The 22 kilometre scenic Kiama Coastal Walk,which begins at Minnamurra and wanders past the headlands, rivers, beaches, Kiama’s town centre to Blowhole Point and further on around bays and beaches to the smaller blowhole is popular for locals and tourists alike.
