A quaint village on the South Coast of New South Wales, Jamberoo is situated 120 kilometres southwest of Sydney, 9 kilometres west of Kiama and 10.4 kilometres south of Jamberoo. It is one of the towns and localities under the local government area of Municipality of Kiama. Michael Hyam, a property owner during the late 1830s, established Jamberoo, a private village, in 1841, the Main South Coast Road service as the border of his village to the north, and lots allotted for Protestant Churches to the west.
