Clybucca is a town within the local government area of the Kempsey Shire in the mid north coast regiona of New South Wales. The shire is adjacent to the North Coast railway line and the Pacific Highway. In the 1841 journal of Major Oakes, George Hebden and Charles Spencer were indicated as the lessees of Clybucca. It was noted in the journal that the town had stock yards, slab huts and a weatherboard house. There is little known about the pastoral run in Clybucca although the Land Titles Office records state that Charles Spencer was the registered landholder in 1862 in the Parish of Clybucca. The land was subdivided into smaller farm blocks by the 1880s and families with children migrated to the region.
