About 350 kilometres away from Sydney lies the small town of Wingham. Located in the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales, Wingham is a typically English town that is rich in history. The Central Park features “The Log,” a massive structure that aims to remind the people of the timber industry that once thrived in the area. There are five schools in the vicinity that cater to the largely residential area of Wingham. There is the area called Wingham Brush where tourists can go hiking to know more about the resident creatures and the flora and fauna that thrive there. Tourists can also visit the nearby Ellenborough Falls, the second longest waterfall in the Southern Hemisphere.
