Roughly 668 kilometres away from the capital city of Sydney, the district of Fingal Head is situated on the North Coast of Northern Rivers in New South Wales, Australia. Its name was coined by James Cook in 1770. The Aboriginal tribes of Minjungbal used to inhabit the place as well.
Several landscapes and seascapes are found around the vicinity of Fingal Head, which sometimes is just called Fingal. Some of these are Banora Point, Tonys Island and Ukerebagh Passage. Fingal Head houses many nearby tourist attractions too, including Epic Skate Rink, which provides skating areas for roller derby, inline hockey and figure skating, as well as Blue Bay Whale Watching, which offers daily departures from Brunswick Heads Boat Harbor in the Cape Byron Marine Park.
The suburban community of Fingal Head is primarily connected by the transport services of the Elanora train station and also via the Gold Coast Airport. Town visitors who wish to stay for vacation may choose from a wide selection of hotels, such as City Lights Motel, Drifters Holiday Village and Tweed Harbour Motor Inn, among several others.
