Eltham is a small suburban town located in the local government area of the Lismore City Council in the state of New South Wales. Historical records show that the first signs of settlement activity in the suburb took place in the mid-1800s. At that time, much of the land was primarily used for grazing. Today, Eltham is part of the growing rural and residential area of the Richmond Hill-Lindendale and District. Some of the tourist attractions and landmarks in the district include the Eltham Village Gallery and the Boatharbour Nature Reserve. Dairy farming and macadamia production are among the town’s major industries.
