Numulgi is a town within the local government area of the City of Lismore in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales. Many of the attractions in the City of Lismore are easily accessible from the town of Numulgi. The region is known for its many parks. One popular park is the Heritage Park, which is a park tailor-made for kids with its especially designed play equipment and miniature railway that operates around the park. The Lismore Community Garden is a greening project near the Lismore Shopping Center. The community is actively involved in growing fresh fruit and vegetables in the garden. Also popular is the Tucki Tucki Nature Reserve, which was created in 1958, is a four-hectare reservation for the local koala population.
