Gulmarrad, a coastal suburb in Maclean, New South Wales. It can be accessed by going to Brooms Head Road, which eventually leads to the suburb. Gulmarrad is a residential suburb that consists of housing estates including Cameron Hill, Whispering Pines, Causley Farm and McIntyre’s Ridge. The suburb has two main schools – Gulmarrad Public School and the Maclean High School.
One of the main attractions near Gulmarrad is the Maclean District Historical Society. The museum complex consists of The Shop, The Museum and The Stone Cottage that all boasts of Maclean’s rich culture and history. In the shop, visitors can purchase publications and souvenir items as well as pickles and jams.
