Quipolly is a town within the local government area of the Liverpool Plains Shire in the North West Slopes region of New South Wales. The shire was formed after the Quirindi Shire and parts of the Parry, Gunnedah and Murrurundi shires merged in 2004. The Liverpool Plains area is generally flat to undulating because of the remains of old volcanoes. It is agriculturally rich with wheat and cotton being the main crops. The weather in the area is predictable: hot during the summer, mild during winter, with moderate rainfall during the wet season. Quipolly is also near the award-winning First and Second Fleet Memorial Gardens as well as the Quirindi Rural Heritage Village and Museum, which are both popular tourist destinations in the area.<...
