Nundle is a picturesque village with historic buildings showing early architecture. Some of these include the Primitive Methodist Church, the Nundle Courthouse, Peel Inn and the Nundle Woollen Mill. Nundle is known to be a place where plenty of precious stones can be found. It is also a popular spot among tourists.
Each year, Nundle hosts the Go for Gold Chinese Easter Festival during Easter’s long weekend. The event commemorates the European and Chinese miners who helped the town thrive in the 1800s. The festival features gold panning, performances and children’s activities. Food stalls and stalls selling bric-a-brac are also present during the event.
