Aberglasslyn is a suburban town located in the local government area of the Maitland City Council in the state of New South Wales. The suburb used to be called the “The Country Estate” due to numerous paddocks and bushland that surrounded Aberglasslyn. Enjoy the One of the oldest structures in the town is the Aberglasslyn House that is estimated to have been built in 1840. The name of the town is also believed to be a mixed name taken from the Aberdeen and Glasgow. Aberglasslyn has amazing views of the Maitland Vale and Rosebrook, near the Hunter River. With close proximity to Maitland, Aberglasslyn is close to an urban centre while still enjoying the quaint charm and small town feel.
