Warners Bay is a suburban town located in the local government area of City of Lake Macquarie in New South Wales. The town’s name was taken from Jonathan Warner, who was presumed to be the first settler in the area.
Local businesses are situated on two primary spots in Warners Bay, either in close proximity to the lake foreshore or a huge industrial estate along Hillsborough and Macquarie roads. Businesses in the foreshore include cafes and restaurants, specialty shops, retail boutiques and a postal office. On the industrial property, recreational facilities such as an ice rink, a bowling alley and gymnasiums can be found. The lake foreshore is also an entertainment and leisure centre for popular activities such as sailing and paddle-boating.
