Hunterview is a suburb of Singleton, fringed by the Hunter River in western New South Wales. It is approximately 80 km’s inland north west of Newcastle.
Although almost completely residential, scattered independent businesses exist around the area.
Tilly’s Play and Development Centre, privately owned and family run, is a Long Day Care Centre open 49-51 weeks of the year and for the visitors, Kurrindah Bed and Breakfast provides accommodation.
Allan Bull Reserve to west of the locality offers up many attractions including a skate ramp, shaded structure over a mulched play equipment area, picnic tables and barbeque facilities, and a cycleway. The local youth venue holds a skate park competition annually which open to all and includes a variety of events. Col Fisher Park to the east of Hunterview has a meandering creek that opens into the Hunter River.
