Yeoval is a village in New South Wales located between Parkes and Dubbo. The quaint village is the perfect place to visit for those seeking to get away from the city and relax in a country environment. The village also has a rich history and culture, and visitors can learn more about the area by going to the Yeoval Museum. The museum can be found at the centre of Yeoval’s main street. It houses items owned by the early residents of Yeoval, dating back to the 1870s. In the museum, visitors can see displays that depict how life was back then. Silver, copper and gold were also discovered near the area and as a result, the Goodrich Mine was opened and operated until 1971.
Yeoval has three schools: Yeoval Central School, Yeoval Pre School and St Columba’s Catholic School. The village also has four churches: Yeoval Uniting Church, Church of Our Lade, Yeoval Baptist Church and St Luke’s Anglican Church.
