Toukley is a suburban town located in the local government area of the Wyong Shire Council in the state of New South Wales. The earliest recorded date of settlement activity in the suburb was during the 1820s. During this time, land area in Toukley was primarily used for timber-getting. Since then, the town has flourished into a residential community with parklands and commercial areas.
