Burradoo is a suburban town located in the local government area of Wingecarribee Shire in the state of New South Wales. Its name was derived from an Aboriginal phrase that means “several brigalow trees.” The suburb used to be known as a fancy community in the Southern Highlands, mainly because of some historic manor residences situated in Burradoo. The town also features contemporary architectural designs of houses on small properties. These features are often attributed to the suburb's similarities with some areas in England due to its landscaping and architectural environment. Among the town's public infrastructure number schools such as the Oxley College and Chevalier College. Some of the local businesses and services in Burradoo are building contractors, land surveyors and graziers.
