Located in the Southern Highlands in New South Wales, in the Wingecarribee Shire, the village of Alpine sits about 100 kilometres from Sydney. Some of the geographical features that surround Alpine are Lizzards Knob and the Nepean Reservoir, to name a few. Alpine has neighbouring tourist spots as well including Harper’s Mansion, which is an historic homestead, and Berrima District Museum, which is housed in an old weatherboard cottage and displays collections covering local areas.
