Both Resilience Physiotherapy and Resilient Health Body Technologies were founded by Dr Ben Gaffney. Ben graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy Studies from the University of Queensland in 2005 and has been in private practice on the Sunshine Coast since 2006. Ben’s special interest in physiotherapy is back and hip rehabilitation and ergonomic workstation design for neck and shoulder pain. Established in 2012 by Dr Ben Gaffney Physiotherapist, Resilience Physiotherapy serves the Sunshine coast from Buddina (Kawana) and Forest Glen, providing professional Physiotherapy care for all. An emphasis is given to providing pain relief as soon as possible while also addressing the cause of the problem.

The philosophy behind INTRAFlow is simple. Intra' meaning from within', and flow' meaning what best serves the needs of each individual'. Zenko yoga was founded by Lauren Verona in 2014 after selling her 2 yoga studios, Kozen in Melbourne and moving with her family to the Sunshine Coast for a lifestyle change. Zen means the 'contemplative state’ and Ko is the Japanese word for child. The aim of yoga, and Zenko is to bring the mind back to a child like state, free of anxiety and concern. The name Zenko, was created, as most of Lauren's ideas were, through meditation. Her original studios were called 'Kozen' and the terms were reversed when opening up the 3rd and 4th studio in Queensland. Zenko Yoga opened its doors with ten classes per week and have more than quadrupled with 4 studios across the Sunshine Coast (and perhaps more to come) offering over 20 classes each per week. Zenko Yoga is often referred to by it's members as a healing sanctuary and the minute you step foot in the door, you discover that for yourself. Ben prioritises determining the source of a client’s pain and the nature of their dysfunction and then assisting them to understand how their pain and function can be improved. Ben’s treatment is oriented towards hands-on myofascial release, joint mobilisation, dry-needling, and specific therapeutic exercises. An emphasis is given to providing pain relief in the first treatment followed by step by step progression to a self management plan.

Jodi has and always will have a love of the ballet barre. After moving to Melbourne at 17 to study her Diploma in Classical Dance Jodi was involved in a serious car accident and told she was unable to perform. Disheartened to hear this news, Jodi went in search of other forms of exercise and fell in love with barre classes. Jodi began teaching barre in Melbourne and decided to leave her office job in pursue of becoming a full time barre babe expert! Jodi has been teaching since 2012 and has well over 500 hours of barre teaching experience. A qualified Barre, Yoga, Pilates, and Qi Gong instructor , Jodi's years of teaching experience is shown throughout her classes as she provides a fun yet challenging class focusing on technique (all that classical ballet training 17+ years came in handy!) which ultimately gives you really quick RESULTS.

Hi, I'm Sarah. When I first started practising physiotherapy it had not occurred to me that the body could be a gateway for deep spiritual transformation and emotional healing. Working with athletes, and in hospitals and rehabilitation centres, I had previously seen serious injuries as something that would be �hard to get over�. However when I started having my own injuries, illnesses and health challenges, things changed a lot. I began studying meditation, yoga and NLP, and something miraculous happened. I began to see the gift in the wisdom of our bodies. Rather than seeing just the pain and physical limitation I began to see the opportunity to move through these challenges, not just physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It was profound, and again like the 7 year old version of me seeing the orange as a gift, I began to see the experience pain and injury bring as an opportunity for spiritual growth and personal transformation.

Life takes all kinds of roads, some are steep hills, some are windy, some are wet and slippery and some seem to want to drop off a steep cliff. If we do not embrace the change, slow down or speed up when we have to how will we grow, how will we learn. So here I am back in Australia. We arrived in April 2017 and this time happy to be here and to stay and make the very most of my life, my kids life and my partners life. I had to close the True Passion Studio which was heart breaking. In the 3 years the Studio was open I was very blessed to have the most amazing clients. Loyal and dedicated to their practice, whether it was Iyengar Yoga, Classical Pilates or Aerial Yoga. Some coming up to 3 times a week. As a teacher I jumped leaps and bounds with experience and knowledge. Impression Yoga and Pilates Studio is then name of my new studio. The name Impression resonates well with me as it's the positive impact I aim to imprint on your life when you attend my Studio.
