Brendon has an extensive history of working in bars, restaurants and wineries throughout his career. For him, it was a no brainer to combine his love of customer service, fascination with wine, and indulgence of great food into a business where he can share a lifetime of experience with others.

Hunter Gleann, formerly Hermitage Hideaway, is a 14 acre hill top property offering spacious self contained accommodation, luxury wine tours and a range of property grown olives, caramelised balsamic vinegar and accessories. The view from the hill top location flowed out to the Brokenback Range and overlooking our olive groves and neighbouring vineyards.

Owner/operator Pippa Travers is fully licensed, accredited and insured, as well as a proud local who enjoys nothing more than to show off the Hunter Valley and it's wines! After 20 years teaching 60 children under five, she decided on a career change - winemaker! After completing a Wine Production course on make wine, Pippa soon discovered that as her age and to make the wine she wanted to make, she needed more money and muscles. Saying all that, she has worked in many cellar doors, knows and loves her wine, and therefore, knows where to find them! Let our tours introduce the Hunter Valley Wine Country's best wine tasting experiences, with pick ups at various Hunter Valley Locations. Each group on board is given time at each cellar door to gain a complete experience and flavour of the cellar door/vineyard/winery. Pippa's able to regale history, quirky stories and give informative commentary and knowledge about wines, vines and the Valley... All delivered with an innate sense of humour! Hunter Valley Wine Tours conducted by Cheers Bus offers you a personalised & professional tour in an air conditioned Mini Bus seven days per week. Cheers can cater for your larger or corporate groups. You have the convenience of being picked up from your chosen accommodation and escorted throughout the day by our air conditioned Mini Bus. On route to our chosen boutique cellar doors you will witness the beauty and tranquillity of Hunter Valley Wine Country. For Large and Corporate groups a specialised itinerary can be arranged. We visit a selection of boutique cellar doors exhibiting distinctive wine styles, professional and friendly staff offering a brief tutorial which is both interesting and educational at each venue. We dine at a local restaurant for lunch. The menu caters for all tastes and budgets and after our relaxed break we continue on with our tour.
