Mark and Anthea have opened an artisan winery and Cellar door in Salamander Bay in beautiful Port Stephens, NSW. Mark Tynan started Tynan Wines in 2009. He has a Master in Viticulture and Oenology from Charles Sturt University. We focus on producing small batches of premium wine using the best grapes we can find from vineyards in regional NSW and Australia. Not every region can grow the best grapes of all varieties, so we get out on the road and find expert grape growers with a history of producing excellent crops, then bring the grapes back to the Hunter Valley to make fine wine. To date, we have sourced grapes from Canberra, Orange, Hunter Valley, Mudgee, New England, Hilltops (Young) and Tumbarumba.

Murray's Brewery and Port Stephens Winery is open 7 days from 10am to 6pm. Restaurant open 7 days for lunch (bookings essential). Brewery Tours daily at 2.15pm; beer and wine tasting daily. Play a game of bocce on our beautiful outdoor court. Plenty of space for the kids to run around - plus a toy box, chickens and bird cage for kids to enjoy. We also host weddings, parties and corporate events. Murray's Brewery shares our home with Port Stephens Winery - the peninsula's oldest and most successful vineyard. Around 20 acres of our 35 acre property is under vines. We grow 7 different grape varieties, which are harvested each year and crafted into our range of Port Stephens Wines. Visitors can dine at our Brewery Restaurant with views across our vines. And you can walk amongst the vines on our picturesque property. At our Cellar Door you can taste our estate wines, (approx 20 different wines) and taste our own Craft Beer made in our brewery on site - we have around 10 different beers on tap. You can also snap up some great gourmet produce and unique gifts from our gift shop. Enjoy entertainment on weekends.
